Windswept Game Network

What is The Windswept Game Network

Tired of sluggish on-line game networks? You know what I'm talking about, you click on a card and then two or three seconds later the card actually plays. Then you can go get yourself a cup of coffee while you wait for your opponent to play. The Windswept Game Network has changed all of that. No more overloaded game servers trying to do too many things at one time. The Windswept Game Network connects you directly to your opponent. The Windswept Game Network doesn't use wimpy Java applets either. These are real computer games with graphics and sound effects.

Once you log on you will see a list of tables waiting for opponents, or you can create a table of your own. The tables you create can be public or private. You can set game options for the public tables and limit who can join based on their rating or level of use. Ratings for players are implemented using The US Chess Federation rating system.

If you find a user you enjoy playing with, or maybe you have a friend you want to play with, you can set up a private table and only that person will be able to join your table.

 How To Log On

The Windswept Game Network can be accessed through the games themselves. Each game has the built in capability to log on the game network. All you do is select Connect from the Network menu and then select Windswept Game Network when the Network Game Dialog appears. You will be automatically logged on. You don't need to set up any profiles or remember a user name and password. As of now the Windswept Game Network has been set up for three games.

Click on one of the game links above to go to a page dedicated to that game. From there you can read about the game and download a fully functional trail version. Enjoy!
